Tailgate Details

Can someone run through the tailgating details for an Indy virgin? I've heard conflicting stories. Can you tailgate in the venue parking lot? If I come in an RV will they make me move after the show? Is this campsite across the road my best option? Is it $20 per person to stay there and can I stay the night with my RV? I assume from description this is just a field and there is no place to plug in. Thanks for any help anyone can give.

Tailgating is allowed in the parking lot, but not until they open the gates for parking. Which is usually 30min to an hour before opening the gates for seating. No open flames are allowed i.e., grills. I've never had any problems though with drinking from glass bottles. I don't have any experience with RV's, but I would imagine they make everybody leave the lot after the concert. I've never been to the campground across the street, but from their website, it doesen't look like they allow for hookups. Also, if you have lawn seats, blankets are allowed, but no chairs. See my previous post in this thread for other details.

This threads pretty short, like me. Isn't anybody going to Indy this year? I haven't seen the man since Cincy last year, so I got the shakes bad right about now.

I'll be there with SOASOAPT!!
We're looking forward to a great time!!! We'll be somewhere under an 8' metallic palm tree hanging from a golf ball retriever. Stop by and say "hi".
Here are a few basics re. the venue:
Gates open at 3 pm
No grills
No glass
Vehicles have to depart the Verizon lots after the show
Also, Bahama Llama will be playing at the new northeast side CIP after the show -- just down the interstate from Verizon (~8 miles).
Four short weeks!!!!
