Jeff the Muff Diver

I also have a copy of this song (on a compilation disk from a friend) and haven't got a clue where it came from or if there is a better version out there.

Any clues out there?

It's MIKE THE MUFFDIVER and it's by Jim Morris and it only appears on a CD single and it has only been done live.

Barefoot man is island/calypso/reggae music...
He is extremely popular in the Carribbean, started there in the 70's I think...
I first heard his music from my Uncle who lived in Grand Cayman for some time and brought home some CD's- I've been hooked ever since. His CD's always accompany us to every Buffett show... they mix right in :)
You can read more about him here
http://www.barefootman.com/whodat.html
and there are some more samples of his music on the website as well
Enjoy!!

Jeff The Muff Diver is also done by the Band MANGO MANGO and it's on their Sunday At Sunrise CD. The song was written by H.G. Nowak who is the BAREFOOT MAN. MANGO MANGO is also the band that did the song Parrothead Holiday that is on the CD Thongs in the Key of Life which is a bunch of Buffett Flavored songs by independent artist.
