Does the computer have a Go Back program? I have a Gateway, and it has Gateway Go Back. It lets you revert your hard drive to a time in the past. So, if you delete something, you can revert your hard drive to a time earlier in the day when what you deleted was still there.

:( NO GoBack.

Windows 2k and he deleted his main DATA Folder...... the one with ALL his clients data. As soon as he did this he called me. I used a data recovery software program and it recovered some but not ALL (and especially not the most important files).

I don't know a WHOLE lot, but he should stop using the computer, so the deleted files don't get overwritten, and have a chance of being recovered.

If the data is that important, take it to a professional; good chance it can be recovered.

I used this last week and was able to recover a ton of data:

File Scavenger 2.1

http://www.quetek.com/prod02.htm

You can run the Demo and it will show you what files it will be able to recover.

Can't help you with your data recovery problem, but I do have to ask you a question...

Did you have a sleep over at Captain Tony's house? It may just be my eyes, but it really does look like the two of you are wearing bathrobes.

Did you ever get to bathe Cap'n Tony like UP did? :P

I worked for this company and the software is excellent. They were just purchased by Iron Mountain.
