I was wondering what the tailgating is like in toronto? I guess the main question I am asking is if anyone knows if it is allowed? I saw no mention of it either way on the venues website and I know the question may be alittle difficult to answer because he hasnt played there in about a decade but any information would be appreciated. We are thinking of making the nine our drive west from boston

Need Pirate Norm to come over here and tell us about all the great things his group has planned but here is what he posted in the jimmydreamz forum:

Aloha Pholks, I just finished a meeting with the Corona Rep for Molson/Coors Breweries, who The Toronto Maple Reefers PHC will be working closely with along with Margaritaville Tequila, to ensure everyone has the maximum concert experience possible and the topic of tailgating DID take front and centre.
Molson, Ontario Place (where the concert will be) and Exhibition Place (where the Molson Indy is held each year- adjacent to Ontario Place) will be looking into one of the numerous lots there and obtaining a Special Occasion Permit location to allow a modified form of tailgating.
It will not be the same as elsewhere as our Liquor Laws do not allow public consumption of your own booze in a field or lot. But patios are everywhere here so drinking in public is allowed in a designated area as long as it is bought from the licence holder, in this case Molson/Corona and Margaritaville Tequila. So although it won't be the same it won't be that much different either. We're looking into many other options as well so fear not, the party will be happening.
See you all here!
Pirate Norm
