Just got off phone with MGM Public Relations. The MGM Pre-Party is a go. They will have it in the pool area this year and they are firming up the band and other incidentals this week. And so it goes parrot heads...

There's John Frinzi playing at the San Remo (across the street from the MGM) from 10:30 am - Noon or so.

There's the Margaritaville street party (between the Flamingo and O'Shay's) starting around noon. That was new last year and is getting bigger and better! -Tommy Rocker's & "Conched Out" will be playing.

Then there's the MGM Pre-party- The Cheeseburgers will be playing at that one..usually starting at around 2pm going right up until almost showtime 7 or so.

We're staying at the Flamingo- so we're definitely going to start at the street party from about noon til 4. Then head up to the MGM on the monorail and do the pool party til showtime. I really enjoy being right there at the MGM pre-party towards the end where we get herded in. Easy- no big decision making issues... Everyone will have their preferences- aahhh, Vegas- it's a beautiful thing...

Next Stop...VEGAS!!!!! :pirate: :pirate: :pirate:

Oh yeah, one more question. Does anyone know if under-21s are allowed at the M'ville street and MGM parties? We'll have a 20 year old Buffett virgin (a mere 21 days short of 21) we need to include. Thanks!

I believe that you can attend either event no matter what your age is. I can't remember seeing kids around, but I know they don't "card at the door" so a 20 year old will have no problem joining the phestivities.
