Submission for a 51st US State

On the news this morning - Prime Minister of Australia, John Howard announced that Australia is finally removing itself from the British Commonwealth and English Royalty.

He stated that it would be more beneficial for Australia to make application to become the 51st US state.

The benefits he stated would be that it would improve our economy, we would use the much stronger US dollar and our military forces already work closely together - so that would make an easy transition.

No word yet on the Australian reaction - I dont have an issue with it - maybe that would result in Buffett touring down here, if we are paying in American dollars!!

Suggestion for governer for this state is Steve Irwin

I shared this with the people in the next office. They came up with some very serious questions that they'd like to have answered before admitting Australia to the U.S.
