He grumbles in his little parlour when he can't get out.
And when i make a a purchase, Lord, and she hands me the change...

Uh oh, the Canadian associations you have are starting to leak out. You need to be careful or we will start to think you like us...

My buddy and I were thinking about this one last night...

Aldo's standing at his table
And he's wondering if he's able
To pick the number right this time
He watches as the wheel stops spinning
Sees the number that is winning
As he reaches for his glass of wine
Dumb and drunk as I was, you know I would do it all again.

You must be Canadian... I was talking to a few people from Illinois on vacation, mentioned Great Big Sea, and looked at me like I had an alien emerging from my forehead. Never heard of them.

They actually have a following out here. We used to have a festival every summer that showcased a different country every year. One year they showcased Canada. Great Big Sea played the big show before the fireworks the last night. Gained about 10,000 new fans in the process.

Sounds like a great night. Would have loved to have been there. Great Big Sea is the most elusive band for me as every time the are playing close by, something comes up that I can't make the show.

This was the lyric I threw out there. One hit wonder Canadian 80's band.
