i actuallysaw the shuttle launch one year. we were taking off from tampa.and , while in flight we saw the launch. it was pretty cool.my brother lives in melbourne and watches it from the beach all the time.

It's quite an amazing sight...if and when you plan on coming let me know and I can let you know the best places to watch it. Before 9-11 we were able to hand out car passes that would let you out on the base just a few miles from the Pad....(and some of the best places for margarita's!!!!)
