Actually, that means that the bill can be used to satisfy any debts, not that it must be accepted. It is completely up to the management of the business as to what currency they will accept. It's common for small shops and convenience stores to refuse anything larger than a 20 dollar bill. Nothing illegal about it.

I used to work in retail. At the time, we reserved the right to refuse any type of payment. Notice that gas stations refuse the right to accept anything over a $20 even though they typically have at least $500-600 in each drawer.

And the other day I sent a check to my brother. I owed him $196.50 and wrote the check for $196.49 and wrote "You can take the other penny and shove it right up your....." :lol: :lol: :lol:
The check I sent to Frankie for the Nissan tickets says for "Sexual Favors".
But its not as funny when that's really what its for. :roll: :P

Wow. That reminds me of what I do. I love to confuse cashiers at convience stores by giving them bills and change. For example this morning I got coffee it was $1.87, I gave the cashier a five and 2 pennies. She looked at me like I was crazy.

I can't imagine how bad it is there. When my little sister moved here from California, she was an honor roll student there. She almost got held back here. She was about 1 year behind what Idaho kids were studying.
