I don't let my dog run wild, so don't let your cats run wild, and they won't get shot. Put that pussy on a leash is all I am saying. Just like I have to put a leash on my dog. No leash? your pussy gets a ticket. Let it run wild, the kitty gets shot.
Being a cat hater you probably don't realize a cat on a leash just isn't a happening thing with the majority of cats. It's a cruel punishment to them. And maybe if you shoot someone's pet, yours will be shot as well. Have you ever had to explain to a child that someone murdered their loved pet?? Just like dogs, cats do escape. So if you're going to be for shooting cats that escape let's be fair and shoot dogs too. Escaped cats don't attack people like escaped dogs do. You never hear about an innocent person walking down the street and being attacked by a cat that got out of their yard.
I love cats and dogs but under your line of thinking it has to go BOTH ways.

Connie We had a TOM in the area that hated me He would come up and
scratch my legs or take the garbage out of my hand
and spread it all around he would see me in the yard and jump on my truck and either spray it or cr@p on it
Hiw owner always had a video camera and If I even raised my woice at the cat she came running....
I made friends with the racoons in the area... What that cat was not tough
enough to do, was whip a coon.... I was out one evening and My big old boar was in my yard..(munching on a plum) and that d@mn cat
came at me while I was watching him eat.. Mr Coon did not like the

Us dog owners should try that line of argument. Put that Pussy on a leash! All I have to say to your reasoning is WOOF Kill the Kitty Kill the Kitty
EXACTLY MY POINT!!!!! as i said before, i love cats, but when 1 person/family has that many it tends to become a problem. i wouldnt care if my neighbors had 200 cats as long as they dont become roadkill, dont crap in my yard, tear up my trash, and litter my yard w/ those dang styrafoam bowls they feed them in and refuse to pick up!!!!! cat hater- NO, fed up home owner YES!!!
btw, i love dogs too
Thanks Pop for introducing me to the music, you will always be my favorite Jimmy!!
Over thirty years ago, I had a beautiful Russian Blue named Joey. He had iridescent green eyes, was a good boy and talked to me. He got out in the yard of a horrid, mean neighbor and the son of a biscuiteater shot Joey because he was scaring the birds in the trees. The birds were taking care of themselves, Joey was just exploring. He crawled through our yard to the back door and died on the steps. I was in school, thank goodness, or I'd have taken my little self to the man's house and hurt him beyond redemption. I still hate that creep....he's probably in hell. I still miss Joey...if there's such a thing as reincarnation, my cat Chessie is him for sure...talks a lot and has those same strangely beautiful iridescent green eyes. The point is, I had only one cat, neutered. Now I have only one cat, spayed and is kept INSIDE, except to go out to eat grass...and you can bet I am out there watching her.
Do not resent growing old. Many are denied the privilege.

47 is way too much. And in the case of the tom - IMHO it should be treated the same as a dog that constantly attacks neighbors.

and again I say to you maybe someone will shoot your kids' dog when it gets loose and you'll have to face the heartbreak in their eyes at that happening. I've had it happen to me on both a dog and a cat so I know what it's like.
I'm so glad I'm not as cold and heartless as you appear to be. I would rather offer an insane empathatic argument than come of as a cold cruel heartless person who has no regard to the possible feelings of a child. You must really be the type of teacher their students hate.

One I am not a cat hater. I have owned cats, and handled them in a responsible manner. Secondly, I am a responsible dog owner, and my dog does not get loose, does not crap in the neighbors yard, does not dig through their trash, wears a leash when outside of our yard, and I pick up their business when they do it in the park. Thank you for your personal attacks, coming from someone who does not know me at all, I really appreciate it. As for my classroom, yeah, the kids must hate the crap out of me, that is why I have gotten the student choice award for Best teacher 3 times.

my observations of you are made on what I have experienced and witnessed with you for about a month now - give me something to change my mind. Show me a kinder gentler side to you and I'll be the first to admit I'm wrong - won't be the first time I was wrong about someone on this board and probably won't be the last.

When one comes on the boards acting like a complete jerk what do you expect people to think of you?? It's not my fault I judge you and your wife to be complete jerks - it's yours by you actions and the manner in which you post. The whole point I've been making all along is that anyone who goes out and just kill a cat because they can have no regard that that cat may be a child's precious pet. Your like of thinking is that you don't care - kill the cat.
Both of you are pathetic and uncaring in your line of thinking - you are not thinking of what pain your actions may cause another individual, quite possibly a child. That speaks for itself.
I'm done with you and your wife - you think you're cute with your barking like a dog - you're not.

WOOF = Damn cute. You can reread all of my posts and not once did I start with rude name calling or rash judgements. And the last time I checked = joking. Thank you for reinforcing my previous post. Are those Angels wings I see there Connie? Looking a little ragged at this point in time.
I keep my cats inside. I don't like anybody that doesn't take care of their animals. I hate to see some poor pitiful dog tied up to a tree that I am sure is petted once in a while and gets attention only when it's feeding time. That is cruel. I agree cat/dog owners need to be more responsible. A pet is a life, that life demands love, attention and your care. If you aren't doing it then it's cruelty!
When they run you out of town make it look like you are leading the parade.
