thanks for the heads up on both of them, gonna have to place an order.
I spent a couple hours today importing my jim morris, sunny jim, mark mulligan, jack mosley and chris bellamy etc CDs onto my laptop.
Now if I can only figure out how to get what is on my laptop on to my iPod without losing everything that is already on there, did that once before.

I ordered both CDs and a hat. Like I needed another hat.

All they do is give me hat hair.
Hope the mailboat comes fast...I had them shipped here since I figure I'll be here at least 2 more weeks.

Just got back from Kent Island, MD where the Mid-Atlantic CD Release party was held at The Jetty.
What a fantastic time! Weather cooperated (I got sunburned). Music was great and the songs from the new CD are really really good. I've been listening to the CD non-stop since Saturday and the more I listen the more I like it. Great mix of rocking songs, mellow songs and the title song is pretty funny as well as Booze is the Duct Tape of Life. My favorite song is Mary Jane Goes to Key West and I Don't Want To Go Home. Nice version of JJW's LA Freeway too.
I think everyone will enjoy this CD A LOT!
Tommy Snellgrove comes back to the band playing bass. We all miss Joey but Tommy is a great addition to the band and fits in with the band and the crowd really well. Awesome bass player too!

I'm not so sure about Jim's JJW covers.
IMO so far they have not been as good as the originals but still enjoyable.
When heard played live I love them though.

JJW just seams a little too country for my taste, BUT the man is a VERY talanted writer/singer.
JJW can write em', and Jim can sing em'

LA Freeway is actually a Guy Clark original.

Yes, it is. Jim's cover is much more like JJW's cover of the song. And thanks to Guy Clark for providing them with such a kick ass song!
