Jimmy lies.................. He told us he would be back at Jones Beach this year................ I don't trust him for squat when it comes to him saying where he will be playing until the tickets are in my hand................. Been down that road one too many times..................... :-?
I know he always says he'll be back in places....however, in this case, the MGM already has the venue reserved for him on 10/22 and 10/29....I think those dates are pretty solid.
damn predictability...

Boy! I sure hope!
*sigh* :(
I think maybe he's changed up his venues, dates, and cities so much this year because he doesn't want us to get set in our ways, then when he slows down...have us go nuts ballistic crazy discombobulated. Whatever. :x

He's back here in Vegas on October 22 and October 29......so I'm sure they'll be some other west coast dates on the Tuesdays and Thursdays around those shows.....perhaps San Diego, Denver, etc.
.....Portland....Vancouver......Seattle!!!!

I look at it this way................... Don't revolve your life around Jimmy anymore................ If he comes to your city, good for you............ It seems obvious over the past couple of years where this is heading............ Sad to say, its almost over.................. :-?

He was away from Santa Barbara for 16 years til this past Tuesday....so don't give up hope of a future return to Oklahoma City!

I think, unfortunately, that there's truth in your statement. I'll always love his music, but I'm to the point where I don't count on that annual concert nearly as much anymore. :(

I sure do hope he makes it down here again to the left coast sometime around those Vegas dates. Anaheim was fun (the cops & security guards even seemed to try extra-hard to make us feel welcome), but I LOVE seeing Jimmy at Coors & Irvine!

Alpine Valley this year

I've been keeping a daily tab on the tour for this summer. gettin a little worried that he hasn't booked Alpine Valley yet. He usually plays there the week before or after DMB. It would be quite the shame if he didn't make it this year. He's been a staple in Southern Wisconsin for over a decade! I hope is latitude and attitude hasn't changed.

tryin to reason with hurricane season!

I'm looking forward to another SoCal date at Coors, without the monsoon rains! 8)

Hey Missy! sorry we missed you at Anaheim tailgate last week. We had some juicy jello shots that were going over bigtime! :P

Other than the SYKBH standards, I think the setlists have been great.

Now, the venue is another matter. After Anaheim, it's clear that he'd rather cover the L.A. zone in one night at The Pond than 2 dates at Irvine :(

It's frustrating that the tours don't "seem" better than those of the past,
but I'll travel to see the shows that I WANT to see, and when it's for a touring vet like Jimmy, ...it's still quite a priviledge to be able to go see him!! 8)
Question: does it seem like he's playing more and more cover songs than ever before? Count them from this year's set list (the Horizon song, Brown Eyed Girl, Southern Cross, the Dead, Hank, etc.). Call me crazy, but I'm sure that there are a large number of people that actually think Jimmy wrote Southern Cross - he's been playing it for so long now.

Texas!

Well I just hope he makes Dallas this year alone.

He comes every year and I don't mind being set in my ways...

IsleReef a little bitter there?

All things end but I'll keep riding this wave until it is over.

//See you guys at the show! :pirate:
