Eric Clapton, cool and sexy even at 50somethin
Speaking of which, he just hit the 60 mark last week.
OceanCityGirl wrote:Steve Martin singing King Tut was definitely cool, even though he's not a musician.
Actually he is a musician although I guess acting is his calling card, Steve Martin is quite adept at the banjo. I'm not sure if he's on the record but he appeared in the video for "Foggy Mountain Breakdown" for Earl Scruggs' recent all star album and for Earl's Letterman appearance a couple of years ago.

oh, and I'm surprised no one has mentioned The Man In Black yet...

Hey OleMissRebel!

I love Merle Haggard, too. Especially "You Put Me on a Natural High". I really like Harry Conick Jr., too. I want to say that the BGs and I were in New Orleans the same weekend he got married (many moons ago). I was so hoping to get a peek of him while we were there!

Harry Conick Jr. is probably the coolest and most gifted musician that is living today. That guy can do it all!!!

As for the country musicians....I like the old guys the best like Waylon, Merle, Willy, Hank Sr, etc..... The old country music was the absolute best!!! Luchenback, TX....Tonight, the Bottle Let Me Down....Poncho & Lefty....Momma Tried....Okie From Muskogee....You Were Always on My Mind...Your Cheatin' Heart....

The list goes on and on.......

Not a musician but Bruce Campbell is one of the coolest guys on Earth.

Harry Connick Jr. is awesome! I saw him on the last tour. The best jam session I have ever been to. He has to beat women off with a stick.

Steven Tyler has to be the coolest man in rock.

All the members of KISS.....with make-up.

David Lee Roth was cool until he went completely nuts.

SNOOP DOGG

Yep. Still amazed at when I took my son and his Buds to Project Revolution. The crowd was there to see Lincoln Park and Korn, hard rock bands. But, Snoop hit the stage, and everybody got into his set.

Right then and there I knew Snoop was the coolest guy on the planet. - Other than Bruce Campbell
