That's only half the tickets as they are allowed to sell 39,000 for each show...so where are the other tickets going??? (Scalpers, Tribune Execs, Sponsors, ???)
I thought it was 39,500 max for each show.
I guess I either wasn't clear or I'm misunderstanding...

It looks like only half of the total number of tickets for both shows are going on sale. That leaves another 39,000 or so somewhere in limbo (or not being sold). Seems like a huge number are being held back... :-?

I WILL go, and I WILL have a great time.
Heaven forbid if I used that money on anything useful like home repairs or a new set of bedroom furniture.

Yeah, those ticket prices are steep. However since it will most likely be the funnest thing I do all summer and in February 2006 when the weather is horrible and when I'm listening to the concert CD or a RM replay. I'll be glad I payed it and I'll be glad I went and probably won't think much about paying 3x as much as I would for a lawn ticket at Alpine. You are paying to see him but remember you are also paying for a happy memory. Plus, I have a feeling the wrigley bars will be a blast before and after the concert. The nice thing about Wrigley is public transportation enables a safe ride home as opposed to designating a driver.

I think your reading more into this then it needs.... everything I have read says that the attendance for EACH show is capped at 39,500.

So I would think that out of that 39,500 for each show you have tickets going to PHIP Clubs, Cubs Season ticket holders, tickets for people that live with in a mile of Wrigley, Corona, Margaritaville Tequila, Tribune... who else did I forget?
 That doesnt look any better does it.... :pirate:
