How in the hell do you get a gmail account? I looked into this a while ago, but never got around to really trying to track one down. I have a hard time with hotmail from work and was thinking about switching over.

Just got this off of Google Website:

We're currently only offering Gmail as part of a preview release and limited test. We don't have details on when Gmail will be made more widely available, as that depends in part on the results of the test.

I got an invite and set up an account months ago.. I just can't get myself to make the big changeover... I hate changing e-mail addresses.... But, gmail really is a lot better than hotmail right?

The one upside to gmail is I haven't been bombarded with spam. I think because it's new, the spammers are leaving it alone for awhile. Once it open's for everybody I am sure it will end up like hotmail.

BUt don't they have a search feature so you can archive your emails and then if you need to find one you can search for it using key words?? That seems pretty cool... Might be worth switching over just for that...
