do you know for sure that you can't get it??? i can refer your neighborhood information too, and it might help get it there sooner.

It wasn't available in my neighborhood when I first moved here a year ago, but we submitted our information as wanting DSL and it was just a month or so before it was available.
I checked just a month or so ago also I am moving soon and do not want to start anything (no tivo either) before I move..

For the last few years I've not had TOO many problems with it.... but lately??
In a few weeks we'll be testing Qwest DSL.
I'll let ya know.

Comcast has had 3 major DNS outages in 7 days - the latest tonight. (you'll notice that you can't get any webpages).
Additionally, they changed provisioners and somehow that got screwed up and has lead to major connectivity issues nationwide.
They're barely holding the network together and yet refuse to acknowledge a larger problem.
Right now comcast sucks bigtime.

For once Key Lime Lee, I agree with you. I haven't seen you in a while... or maybe I just haven't been paying attention any how Comcast still svcks and I always enjoy your witty banter.

Comcast has been spotty at best the last couple of weeks. I can't believe I'm saying this, but in their defense, we haven't had any memorable outages in a couple of years.

I've got Charter. If I lived a couple blocks away, I would be in Comcast's territory.

other than being out a couple of hours a couple of weeks ago mine has been fine. Don't forget the others have problems too. My brother has DSL as well as my job and it's super slow compared to Comcast. I have seen nothing faster than Comcast but then I was with AOHell and Bellsouth prior.
