Has anyone heard if Jimmy will be playing in NYC this year?

Now don't hold me to it cause I literally heard it on the Coconut Telegraph (a coconut hit me on the noggin and I saw stars). Look for JB to crash the JJW show @ BBKings on June 16th. If I'm right you owe me big time. If I'm wrong just give my best to JJW and tell him I'll catch him in November.

Do you think JB will show up at the JJW show on the 16th or will he show up at Mac's show at the Stephen Talkhouse on the 16th? What one you think he is likely to show up at?

I think that it would be the JJW show since he hangs quite reqularly with Mac. But that's just my thoughts.

Well, we'll have to see, because I've heard (second hand) from Mac's agent, that Jimmy will be joining Mac at the Talkhouse on June 16th...and this is to make amends for a last minute cancellation last year during Mac's Talkhouse show. There was even a table reserved for Jimmy.

So, I guess some of us will be at BB Kings for JJW, and some will be with Mac at the Talkhouse. We'll have to see where and IF JB shows up.

For the record, I'll be at the Talkhouse, and it's my bet that he'll be there since it is closest to his home, and he has traveling shows on the nights before and after Mac's Talkhouse date.

I agree with those who pick JB to go with Big Mac over JJW. Few years ago Mrs Goodman and I were at the Talkhouse (Susan was within arm's reach) I was hopin & prayin JB would drop in as he had a year or so before. No luck but JJW was in good tune anyway. I don't think you can ever plan these things. When magic happens it just happens

Back in summer 1994 I went to Montauk to see JB at Paul Simon's charity event. Couldn't wait to hear em jam. Would they do JB tunes, PS tunes or cover some other artist? PS had PMS that nite so there was no jammin. Such is life.

Maybe he figured that Monhegan Sun and Philly covers the NY area enough.

I still hopes he does JB. I don't think he announced the date last year until May or something, so who knows
