From the NY Post's Page Six
April 20, 2005 -- BEACHCOMBING balladeer Jimmy Buffett has had changes in attitude as well as changes in altitude since he bought a sky-high Manhattan apartment. The Post's Braden Keil reports the salt-shaking songwriter has shelled out $11.7 million for a 73rd-floor apartment in the Time Warner Center's south tower. The four-bedroom condo, with views of Central Park and both rivers, includes 51/2 bathrooms, a maid's room, library, large gourmet kitchen and former popstar neighbor Ricky Martin a few floors below. Buffett, whose main home is in Palm Beach, also has a summer estate in the Hamptons.

I caught that too. Jimmy was in fine form last night, great show!ToplessRideFL wrote:Well he did say last night he was spending all his money! Even told the kids....LOLQuiet and Shy wrote:Wow...I guess real estate continues to be a good investment...apparently he's diversifying all those assets he rang up last year.![]()
I'm paying today though, I've gotta download a recorder.
JB also thanked his fans for allowing him the toys and lifestyle that
he has. Ya know, through all the complaining and moaning that has
gone on around BN lately (I'm no exception
on which side his bread is buttered. I truly think Jimmy is very
appreciative of his phans, and is about the only performer I can think
of, that states his appreciation on regular basis!!!
Thank You Jimmy for a great listen on RM,
and providing us fruitcake parrotheads with a
much needed escape hatch.
