Who hasn't wanted to do this?

Post by pair8head »

MIAMI (Reuters) - Fed up with his troublesome car, a Florida man fired five rounds from a semi-automatic pistol into the hood of the 1994 Chrysler LeBaron.

"I'm putting my car out of its misery," 64-year-old John McGivney said after the incident outside an apartment building in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, according to a police report that listed the car as "deceased."

McGivney surrendered to police, was jailed on a firearms charge on Friday and released on bond a day later. He told them the car had been giving him trouble for years.

"I think every guy in the universe has wanted to do it," the South Florida Sun-Sentinel on Wednesday quoted McGivney as saying. "It was worth every damn minute in that jail."

Who woulda thunk that this happened in Floriduh  .
I've had a few cars I needed to shoot.
Most notably a Ford Fiero.

I've always thought that a cell phone toss would be great.
Collect a bunch of old phones so people could slam em into a wall or have a football field rug so you could dance and spike it. I'm sure people would pay to do it.

for those that know me ... i have been a proponent of the installation of a .50cal mini-gun on my truck ... for that exact purpose ... shooting cars.

Namely ones that refuse to show common courtesy and respect of the rules of the road.

My bad, I must have mixed my old Fiero up with my old Ford Fiesta
Both equal in crapsmanship

This made me LOL.

I've had quite a few cars go belly up, albeit from natural causes, rather than vehicular euthanasia.
