From http://mailboatrecords.com/

"About Jimmy Buffett
Recently topping the charts with "Meet Me In Margaritaville" and the #1 country duet with Alan Jackson, "It's Five O'Clock Somewhere," Jimmy Buffett shows no signs of slowing down! Over the next few months, Jimmy will be releasing several of his live shows and a new DVD, which will be the first in an upcoming series of DVD releases!"

Until Billboard, Rolling Stone or something similar reports on it, I just won't believe it. Mailboat Records is just about the most unreliable source of information around.

The Mailboat quote sounds old enough to be promoting "Mini-Matinee 1", doesn't it?

I noticed that myself especially since there's no mention at all of License To Chill.

Where does it say anything about the Fenway Park show? It just says a new DVD in a series of DVD's. I think it is an old post talking about the Tiki Time CD's and the Mini-Matinee DVD's.

I dont see how this is possible. I was at both shows and didnt see many cameras. I specifically remember thinking about how the park is already set up with cameras and how a DVD would be so easy to record but I coulda sworn all the cameras were not being used.

I have seen many shows live that were being recorded for DVD and there are cameras on stage, above stage and all around. I just dont remember seeing any.

Tha being said I would love this DVD!!

But if they release a Fenway DVD, does that mean there is still no Alpine show?

I agree that the message on Mailboat is really, really old. I am sure that this is referring to the already released live albums from the 2003 tour and the already released Mini-Matinee I. Mailboat records seems to be one of the worse companies for getting out timely information.

I e-mailed mailboat about the Fenway show and they told me this:
There will be a Fenway double CD and a 45 minute DVD from the shows coming
out (Hopefully) early to mid June. Waiting for final approvals from all
the parties involved

So it looks like they have a definite plan for a little DVD of this show... maybe it will be similar to the Hawaii package...

Why only a 45 minute DVD? I wish they would release at least one full show someday.
