Try as you might to put words in my mouth and try to tell me how to conduct myself in this discussion, I will stand by the posts I've already made that very politely ask what the purpose of this forum is. Until then, I will continue to post about Buffett-related artists/bands in this section of the message board and all other artists in the Off-Topics section.

It is my opinion that all of this petty bull$hit constantly on BN is why BN has become a big $hithole!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You might want to direct that anger elsewhere. Nowhere in this thread have expressed any anger, I asked a simple question. It's beyond my control if other posters want to attempt to answer a question that wasn't directed at them to start with. If you post the question in public forum it becomes open for anyone to answer the question or are you too thick skulled to realize that simple fact as well? If you didn't want ANYONE'S input advice or comments you should have NEVER posted the question in a public forum.

If you don't care, how come you're the one getting all upset about it? I'm not upset in the least but now you're not only trying to speak for me but for the mods and/or phjim as well.

No one ever asked me what belongs where... if it's (your question) in a thread, there's a good chance a mod will never see it... there's only so many hours in a day, and there's no way we can look at every thread... if you have a question, please send it via PM, and we'll try to get it answered.

2. The mods didn't get an instruction manual on what belongs where musically, except for the listings on the Index. I do know I like it better than the KC area.

If that's the impression you got by me asking what the proper forum is to post in then you are mistaken. This is the only place I've ever visited where a simple question like the one I asked can turn into such a hassle. My intention was never to cause any trouble but simply to know the proper place to post. Make that out any way you want to but that was my sole intention in asking. If that upsets people, so be it but believe me, it wasn't what I intended at all.

My "who cares" was directed more to the people who question which threads are where, not anyone with a legitimate question of BN board etiquette. But like I said, next time, please shoot someone a PM to make sure it's seen... I don't think we, as a whole, spend much time in the music threads, no offense to anyone.

And by the way - unless I missed something, I don't see where you (Jahfin) did anything to offend anyone with your replies.

I don't mean to jump in the middle here but I have a question somewhat related to the topic. Does anyone know why a Thread I created to let people know about Damion Marely's gig in Boston was deleted? I thought this forum would be the proper place to post it but then it disappeared.

After all the forum subtitle does say..."Here you can discuss any other artist including Kenny Chesney, Sunny Jim, Todd Snider, Jerry Jeff Walker, Steve Goodman, James Taylor, Alan Jackson, Bob Marley, and others"
I figured if Bob Marley is ok then why wouldn't his son be?

The impression I got was one of someone who when given a bit of advice in a not unfriendly manner, took it to be a personal attack.

You continue to believe that we are all out to get you, but in fact we have other (bigger) things to concern ourselves with. So to make this easy I'll just say that I will no longer direct any comments your way unless you aske me directly, or I feel the need to defend one of my friends.
