And I believe I mentioned earlier exactly what got to me. Yes you did participate in what got to me but you were not the only one. What you do that gets to me is get so defensive that's all - ok - so now can this FINALLY be dropped. When I'm on interferon and sick as a dog and quite possibly on my death bed I'm going to need this time we have both wasted ok?

When accused of something I'm not responsible for and when its pretty much out of my hands I'm left little recourse other than to try to explain what I was asking. It's actually pretty simple but people tend to read much more into what I was asking than I ever intended. Again, I don't see why some people get bent out of shape so easily. It's nothing to get worked up over really and I've emphasized that from the very start. What's happened since then is indicative of how I've seen people behave at BN ever since I first started visiting here. Why that is, I don't know. The Buffett fans I've encountered over the years aren't nearly as tightly wound as the ones that I've seen post here.

Wayne - I'm not a who's who of music. I was just LUCKY to be near Dallas during a time it was putting out a LOT of good musicians and was lucky enough to even see some of them for free several times. Then there was the history of the Deep Ellum area with it's history of black musicians such as Blind Lemmon Jefferson who played there. Back then that was during segration and that was the "black downtown". Now it's a very eclectic area with all types of bars and venues where we still get to see the more recient upcoming groups. In my younger wilder days (yes - wilder), my goal was to go to at least 3 concerts a month and of course there were the clubs where you could see so many different musicans that would roll thru for a concert and then drop by and play a set or two - it still happens, so you might quite possibly get lucky and meet a few. Either that or you do "respectful stalking" like Becky did in Austin once

I guess the main thing I'm going to miss about Dallas is that the music scene is so wide. Great memories from being young with a car and fake ID and to know it's basically the same today. I was talking to Becky about this just last night and she summed it up. It's a privledge to be Texan.
