We are getting a new dog and need some ideas...
We want to name our new female dog something "Buffetty" and I thought everyone here might have some good ideas. I know everyone here is a huge parrothead, and your suggestions would be apprecaiated!

My friend and I bought a yellow lab in college. She was named Delaney in JB's honor. She pee'd on a few statues.Mots wrote:We want to name our new female dog something "Buffetty" and I thought everyone here might have some good ideas. On the way home from picking up our new puppy (about 7 years ago now) my husband asked me what we were going to name him. We were listening to Banana Wind and Jamaica Mistaka was on. Hubby said "How about Spliff?" I said I liked it and it stuck. It is always a conversation starter. We were at the groomer's the other day picking him up. Our groomer said "Oh, Spliff's parents are here." The guy in front of us in line turned around and grinned and said "Is that a Jamaican breed?"

dog name
i think Spooner is a great name for a dog if you're going for a subtle buffett allusion (from Death of and Unpopular Poet)
Now and then we had a hope that if we lived and were good, God would permit us to be pirates.

This topic has come up a few times on this board and I have always thought Spooner. Its clever, related to Buffett and just a great name. I don' tthink somne of the obvious ones are that great even if related to Jimmy. If and when we get a puppy I will be hard pressed not to name him Spooner.i think Spooner is a great name for a dog if you're going for a subtle buffett allusion (from Death of and Unpopular Poet)
