What city was it where Roseanne sang the national anthem before a baseball game?

Brilliant move

by our then-owner Tom Werner.
Then he did a fire-sale on our team that has been copied by others since
Then he's given credit to help build Red Sox into WS champions

11th Round!!!

At that point you have to wonder if the GM just wanted to hear "Rusty Kuntz" announced in the draft room!

The Stones lent their music to commercials as far back as the 60s (for some cereal commercials) and in the 70s had one of their tours sponsored by Jovan Musk. I don't think they've ever been ones to turn down such lucrative proposals. R.E.M. were approached first by Bill Gates to do the Microsoft commercial and flat out turned him down. Some corporate entities think they can get anything they want and when they get turned down like that will try to find a copycat artist to do a song that closely resembles the tune they were pursuing. In recent memory a song by Frank Zappa comes to mind and even more recently, a Tom Waits song. The companies in question are being sued by the Zappa estate and Tom Waits.

Private million dollar shows? Do we know who the millionaires were/are?
I can easily envision some maturing CEO parrothead with money to burn, maybe he plays a little guitar at home. He would be living his life's dream to play a few bars with Jimmy!
BTW, where do you pick up such tidbits as JB playing the private shows?

Gotta also keep in mind that Jimmy didn't write ALL of his own songs ALL by himself. It's a shared view of life. I think he's allowed to have nice things in nice places, even if it isn't on the island we think it should be on.
