I saw a posting somewhere on BN recently about Jimmy being at Mailboat record this year around Jan or Feb. Has anyone heard anything of a new album coming out this year?

Mailboat released Jimmy's Live In Hawaii CD early this year. Maybe that is what you were reading about...

There was a post about that, but I believe it turned out he was there late last year, and the info was a litle screwed up. JB has said that he is working on some new songs, and I would expect to see another album eventually.

you know, realistically...probably not til next year. or late this fall ( in time for next year's summer touring)

Last I'd heard, he was going to be producing the movie "Hoot," and then going back into the studio to record another CD. So, I'd agree that the fall would be a good bet for the next recording session at Shrimpboat.

I just want to get the Fenway CD and that hold me over until next year...
