When I was in high school my friend and his girlfriend set me up on a blind date with one of her friends. All I heard was how great this girl was. So the 4 of us went to play Mini-Golf. She was the most anoying girl I had met (up until then) all she would do was talk talk talk...... I couldn't take it anymore so half way through the course I said I need to use the bathroom and I just left. :-?

My friend was p*** at me but he understood.

Took this girl out, uknown to me she got a number from another dude that night, took her out again about 1 1/2 later and she brings along her 2 friends, and during dinner tells me all about the dude and their 1night stand, later at the club she starts making out with some guy, I get p*** start heading for the door and her friends come with me and start saying how they really like me and all this other crap. So we get to the car and start heading to drop off the friends at their home when she calls and says "please come pick me up". She sits in the back and looks like all sad like she knew she was a b****. It was pathetic. Later telling my friend about it, he said "whatta whore" and I replied "yeah but I still want to hit it".

AlbatrossFlyer wrote:honest to god true story.... even saw the newspaper article about it.

a guy that worked for dad was on a long term assignment at their houston facility. he went out on a few dates with a nice gal that worked for the houston police dept. all along he thought she worked in the adminstration side of things and didn't realize she was a detective. one night (about date 5) they were having dinner in a nice italian restaurant and a couple of thugs come into the joint and proceed to conduct an armed robbery. well before they get too far she stands up pulls out her 357 magnum and dirty harry's them, sits down and goes back to her pasta....

john's classic line was "i always wondered why she carried such a large purse"
:o :o :o

Me, along with most others on here, forgot to post about how happy we are NOT to be dating anymore  How funny is that????

Anyhow, I'm happy to have finally settled down. Although, sometimes, when I'm having a great margarita (or 2) I remember some not-so-terrible dates and miss the excitement. Living on the edge??? :o Naw...just like the memories! 8)

Me three. I was not good at the whole process. When is too soon to call, when is too late to call. One date a week or more. Am I too affectionate too early, am I not affectionate enough. "You are too serious" "You are not serious enough" How much is too much to spend. How much is too little to spend (and still hope to get any) "Oh you like the ruff stuff" "Date rape, what the f*%&" Its all so confusing
