Hello phruits

I work at a public highschool and tomarrow is their prom. I had a few flashbacks on the way home today of my own highschool proms. I remember my 12th grade prom the DJ's soundsystem overloaded and got jammed
Anyone have any past prom memories they want to share?

I took a friend of a female friend of mine, come to find out later she my friend wanted the invite (i was just a dumb kid) who had to be home by 11. Since i shared the limo with my buddy, he and his girl convinced me to play third-wheel as they went into the city for a carriage ride...Blah

My junior prom date is now the Agriculture teacher at my high school and married to a girl that screwed approximately over 50% of the male population of my high school over her four years there.

Hmm prom...I went to 4 proms...all with the same girl. Her Senior year, us and a few of her friends went to dinner at Carrabba's (SP). We had just ordered and some guy comes over to us an starts talking about how nice we all look, blah blah blah. He was your typical older guy who happened to be at the bar when we walked in..so we thought he was a little tipsy. Well later when we were in the middle of our meal he came back and started talking again, talking about how we reminded him of his granddaughter who had graduated the year before, and was the star soccer player from a rival school in the county.(who my girlfriend knew since she played soccer too) He also found out it was everyones Senior year (well everyone but me, I had already graduated) so we were starting to get kind of annoyed with this guy, but finally he was leaving...he said he wants us all to have a great night and would be honored to pay for our dinner. So the guy throws down a $100 bill and says "Have a great time" and leaves..we were all just kind like "Holy Shti, what just happened?" So in the end we had enough to pay for dinner for all of us plus we split up the rest and used it later. Out of 5 Homecomings and 4 Proms, that was definitely the one i'll remember. Ohhh yeah...it was also some of the best sex I had ever had..holy bajeezus people..I won't get into details...but if that sticks out in my mind out of the numerous numerous numerous times over our relationship's 4 year period.

Ok im done..haha

My high school has a school farm complete with an entire Agriculture department that maintains the farm. We have pigs, chickens, goats, sheep & a beefalo on the farm along with numerous acres of wheat, bean & alfalfa fields.
If you're curious... plug this address into the website and take a look... I'm not joking when I say I'm a farm girl!

My junior prom was the most fun since we were all laughing HYSTERICALLY the entire time (w/ a little help). My senior prom-- went w/ a good friend--uneventful. Now, my NIECE's prom this year---they're renting the Philadelphia Real World House for their after prom!! Talk about time's changing; our after prom was at someone's camp.

I didn't go to my prom. Back in 1970 (yes, 1970) the drinking age in NY was still 18 so all the losers who didn't go to the prom went out and got hammered.
When I was in college I had a part-time job. One of the girls at the job asked me to go to her junior prom. I was a senior in college so I passed.

Well mt Senior Prom.. as we were leaving the restaurant the limo driver informed us that the limo would not start. Needless to say.. I had to call my mom to come get us. We made it to prom 30 minutes before it ended... but the afterparty was kick ass so I guess its ok... lol

One of my college roommates was from Riverhead, NY. On moving day to our college in PA, she was having lunch w/ her parents and ordered a glass of wine. When they asked for her ID, she gave them her NY ID and was really surprised that the drinking age here was 21; she said she wouldn't have come to school here had she known that.

Our school was very much divided between the haves and have nots. Lincolnwood Ill. at the time was per capita one of the wealthiest communities in the nation and Morton Grove was pretty blue collar.
Prom was turning into a contest, I know it was just starting back in '75 and it is worse now. But if you didn't rent a limo, go to the Palmer House and basically spend thousands, you didn't go.
So we lead a boycott and one of my friends parents hosted a kegger. Mr A, took all the keys and nobody drove (his other son died the year before, so he was our perminant "safe house") Of a graduating class of over 800, we had over 200 at our anti-prom. Thats was a pretty impressive statement we felt. Fact is I couldn't get a date either and organizing this boycott was a great cover.

My prom 18 years ago was a night to forget. Our parents showed up to take pictures even though they were told not to. My girlfriend and I got in a big fight and she wouldn't dance with me. I started dancing with another girl since I had nobody to dance with. Went back to my house and fell asleep. The other couple and my girlfriend left and 2 weeks later the girl I was dancing with at prom became my new girlfriend.
They had video at my 10 year reunion of our prom.
Needless to say not many people were watching as it was F'ing funny.
