Fantastic.
I see they are playing at the Pines Theater in Florence, MA. This is one of the greatest places you will ever see a concert at. It's a 4 hour drive for me but I will pass up shows closer if they are playing at the Pines.
This is actually in Northampton Mass which is New England's version of Austin Texas. It's a natural outdoor amplitheater that holds maybe 2000 people and even though they have a few seats most people sit on the grass and bring a picnic to the show. They usually have 3 or 4 shows a summer but the last couple of years have been slim pickings but this year they are back with Mark Knopfler, John Fogerty, and now CSN.

I saw CSN ... & Y! ... at an outdoor show at my college in August 1974. They put on a helluva show, opened by Elvin Bishop and Jesse Colin Young.
I also saw Nash & Crosby perform together at another college up the road in the winter of '74-'75. John Bonham sat in with them. I especially remember them playing an extended version of Crosby's "Almost Cut My Hair." 8)

That would be funny if there were a 1st and Main in North Charleston... :)
Maybe on the corner of Rivers and Remount?
Maybe that's what they're calling the North Charleston Coliseum?

Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't David do some time in Dallas or was that where he was living when he was on crack?

CSN's website links to the Coliseum/Performing Arts Center website, so you could be right. It would be cool if we had an outdoor venue like the Waikiki Shell or the Hollywood Bowl, and the Oyster Shell would be the perfect name, but I sure don't know of one.

BTW, the Shell station is on the corner of Rivers and Mall Drive. Rivers and Remount is home to two strip malls, Altman Dodge, and a place called Charleston Denture Center.
