My three day binge

Post by msu#1 »

Well as some of you may know , and most dont know, I had the worst 2 months anyone could have, death, money and love lost hit me hard and more than once in each category for 8 weeks straight.

So right now I just got in from a 3 day binge, work the bar, work, the bar, work and a party, I cant believe I havent been home in three days!!! Its 430 in the morning and it feels like noon. But I really needed it.

Anyone else every just went off the deep end like this?????

I just checked my schedule because I thought I was suppose to work at 6 am but instead it said 1230 pm. I was like Banky Edwards at the end of Chasing Amy and yelled "Thank f**** Christ!"

Monday I have a meeting with my boss and Im gonna real slick like slip in the fact that I need the weekend off for the Derby.

Yep, my first two years of college were like that... I don't remember much, but I'm told that I had a good time!

OH yes. Before DKD moved down here that sounds like a typical day for me. There were days walking into the bedroom and the alarm is going off. That is a sign you have been out late :D

Then there are the days you don't even go home. Just have your friends drop you off at work and use the showers there :D

ahhh...good times

Good for you MSU sounds like you needed it. I'm in the same boat as monkey boy...deffinitely my first 2 years fo college were the same deal. I still have the occasional drunken binge though...yesterday I got home at 7:30 in the A.M. hehehe  Sometimes you just have to let loose! I hope things go better for you!

Good for you MSU! The same thing happened to me a few years back, parents divorced, grandfather passed away, lost a few friends to drinking and driving (not once but twice), financial issues and a lost love all in the period of December to the end of March.. I did the same thing you did although my 3 days turned into 3 weeks..  Sometimes that's exactly what you need to move on and feel better.. :D Know that you've got some good friends here and if you ever need someone to vent to I'm here for you just drop me a PM!

no deaths, just a lot of crap at the jobs, and fiance claiming, "I'm not happy" in July and Aug of 2003 was the start of the spiral here. Kinda went of the deep end for a while. (couple weeks, tho it was not one long, continuous bender, just on my off-day(s) and feeling really rough the next day most of the time).

fingers crossed things get better, or at least more tolerable.

Blew off plenty of steam last night at the neighbor's. Had 4 shots of Cabo Wabo and 4 Rootbeer barrels along with a six pack.
After being with the kids for 4 days straight with the wife at work then out with her friends I sure needed it. Now she get's to go to work in 1 hour till 10 tonight so I am on kid duty again. Hungover this time though.

Livin for the weekend,
Jumpin off the deep end,
With just enough money to buy,
A License to Chill.

Good for you. Sounds like you needed it.

Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,
I'm just a one man band,
With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar
