I'd say I dislike his song "Ellis Dee;" the "real thing" is mucho better.

As far as favorites and least favorites go; I don't "hate" any of them. (Hey, after all it is Jimmy, so it's never that bad).

I actually really like "Math Suks" and "Simply Complicated", which are often named as least favorites. My least favorite albums are;

But as I said, as long as it's Jimmy, it's never "bad". There are songs I like better than others, but overall, there is no other artist that comes close to J.B. for me.
I too love Math Suks and Simply Complicated! They are roll-the-windows-down-and-sing-at-top-of-the-lungs songs. :) When he first played me the LTC CD, my hubby said, 'This one's no good' to Simply Complicated, but I immediately disagreed. It's a fun song and I even like the ending. Awww sh...!
I guess Hokey Pokey is my least favorite. But I agree with BRH... They're all good! And Welcome to Buffett News!

I'd have to say half of the Don't Stop the Carnival are my least favorite songs. Don't care for them at all.
I hated DSTC, until i got to see the play at the Atlantis in the Bahamas. It was done very well and gave me a better appreciation of the soundtrack...

I"m with others, didn't really like Math Sucks... and I do like Elvis Imitators... DSTC has maybe 1/3 of the songs I didn't really like, probably the highest percentage of any of his albums...

I enjoy most of his songs, but each album usually has a song or 2 that I don't really like.

With all the choices, I'm surprised you picked this one. I could understand if you said Big Rig or Please Bypass this Heart. I don't think there is a bad song on Barometer Soup.

As for Math Suks, let's keep our sense of humor. If you've seen Jimmy's report card on the wall at Key West Margaritaville, you know the song was a natural for him. :D

For some dumb reason, I can't stand "Vampires, Mummies, and The Holy Ghost" :-?

IMHO, I don't think it is the best song by a long shot, however I don't think it is the worst. I do find myself hitting skip to get by it occassionally.

As far as favorites and least favorites go; I don't "hate" any of them. (Hey, after all it is Jimmy, so it's never that bad).
But my short list of least favorites from his hundreds of songs are as follows;

-"Pre-You"
-"My Barracuda"
-"Lovely Cruise"
-"When the Wild Life Betrays Me"
-"Creola"
-"Big Rig"
- and the second half of the "Somewhere Over China" album.

I actually really like "Math Suks" and "Simply Complicated", which are often named as least favorites. My least favorite albums are;

- "Somewhere Over China"
- "Riddles in the Sand"
- "Havana Daydreamin'"

(Btw, my favorite Buffett CD's are "Barometer Soup", "Off to See the Lizard", and "Banana Wind".)
But as I said, as long as it's Jimmy, it's never "bad". There are songs I like better than others, but overall, there is no other artist that comes close to J.B. for me.

I think "Lovely Cruise" is quite possible my favorite buffett song, but i'm not a real fan of "In the Shelter", so I guess everyone has their own tastes for buffett.

I actually kinda like it. But for me it's a sad song. It's always the first song they play when the lights come on at the end of the show in Tinley. It's sad because it means another concert is over. :cry:

Hands down, Brown Eyed Girl. Even though it isn't his song, I'm sick of hearing it. I'm gonna get some hell for this one!

Since you've mentioned it... I would also like to add it my unfavorites list. I really have never liked it and I still don't, even after I've heard JB sing it.

It is really hard to think of songs that you don't like... much easier to think of ones you do like!
