While this doesn't mean that urinals are clean (people spit in them, and throw cigarette butts, and numerous other things in them), urine itself is sterile. The water you use to wash your hands after you take a leak is actually dirtier than your pee.

That still doesn't mean I want to take a face first dive into a trough where hundreds or even thousands of guys have p*** since the last cleaning.
