Well it finally happened. I got my first ever pair of glasses today.
I've been having headaches so I went for my first eye exam. Sure enough, my eyes are not as good as they use to be.

This is a tough thing. I only need them for reading. I get tired by mid afternoon. I'm having trouble adjusting. I'm reading then I look up at the computer then look out my office. I'm getting headaches from wearing the glasses!

I need to make sure I don't look into the distance!

It'll take some getting use to I guess.

Get no-line bifocals with no prescription in the upper (distance) part. They work and look way less geeky than half glasses, and dont look in any way like bifocals

If you have some time and your body can adjust to it....

My parents always lost glasses or got tired of putting them on and taking them off. They now wear a prescription contact lens in one eye. I will warn you that it takes a week or two to adjust and train your body, but you don't have the top and bottom effect that bifocals have.
