ONLINE - A new Web site helps travelers search for and book rooms at hotels that do not offer pay-per-view p***.


The Adult Freedom Foundation (AFF) Monitor has found that Phil Burress with Citizens for Community Values created CleanHotels.com to help Christian families and business travelers find hotels in harmony with their beliefs.

The site says "Pull the Plug on PPV p***!"

"We surveyed 43,000 hotels across America," Burress said in a CitizenLink “Focus on the Family” report, "and we’ve identified about 18,000 hotels in just about every city there is."

One entire chain appearing on the list is Best Western. Spokeswoman Paige Donnelly said while each hotel is independently owned, there are specific guidelines each must follow.

"They are prohibited," Donnelly explained, "from offering any entertainment that’s classified as adult, pornographic or obscene."

Pat Trueman, Family Research Council's senior legal counsel, said the Web site would help people avoid temptation.

"That is a big step forward," Trueman said. "No one else is doing that."

And he pointed out, "There are couple of chains like The Ritz-Carlton that have refused to carry pornography and we understand that they have not been hurt financially because they get good support."

Burress said the long-term goal is to get the entire hotel industry out of the p*** business.

From what I hear, the Grand Hotel Toronto has free adult channels. I like that extreme better.

they checked out every hotel in America
And some of them twice because they have more than one
channel they don't want to list

Our primary purpose is to provide a service through which friends like you can book a room for your vacation, business trip or meeting with the expectation, first, that you and your family or associates will not be exposed to pornographic movies and, secondly, that you will be supporting a facility that cares enough about the wellbeing of its customers not to make harmful pornographic movies available.

Pornography is harmful to our society on so many levels. And the pornographic movies that many hotels make available through their in-room pay-per-view service often are the most explicit, degrading and destructive examples of hard core pornography.

Because pornography is an addictive, consuming substance, many individuals, whose curiosity tempts them to view a pornographic movie in the privacy of their hotel room, become "hooked" on pornography. An escalating cycle of pornography use begins and that cycle can result in the disruption of every aspect of the user's life, including family and career.

That is some funny s*** - people need to get a life or if they can't do that, then they need to leave other peoples lives alone!

pretty much look at the cleanhotels.com list, for the area, and pick one that is not on the list...

and what the hell? It's not like they force the PPV p*** on you with every night's stay. If your strength of will is so weak it can't resist, you need to work on something.

One's faith and character ain't tested by taking the Water Road.
