The very toughest day needs CILCIA
Yesterday's are over my shoulder
So I won't look back for too long
There's too much to see waiting in front of me
And I know that I just can't go wrong

Pretty mellow, a little sad, but still optimistic.
"Feel like I've drowned, but I won't wear a frown..."

yep......its my kick myself in the butt song!
But I've got to stop wishin',
Got to go fishin', I'm down to rock bottom again.
Just a few friends, just a few friends.

One Particular Harbour... helps me forget the day, puts a smile on my face, and helps me go to my own personal Margaritaville, if you will.

Wow, they're all good. That's why I like Jimmy Buffett. Most of his songs, if not all,
are pick-me-up-and-keep-going songs.

La Vie Dansante....Love that song!
They can can come take it all away
Break your heart in the light of day
Drown your love in a distant bay
So lonely
See the ship heading for the rocks
See the time melting off the clocks
There's a light shattering all the locks
And saves me
It saves me
That's why I wander and follow La Vie Dansante
On the night wind that takes me just where I want....

Wow, great questions! For me; bad day at work-Gravity Storm and/or Barometer Soup; bad traffic-(on the ground)-One Patrticular Harbor (in the air)-Tree Top Flyer; break up-If the Phone Doesn't Ring, it's Me with Tampico Trauma right after it.

Tin Cup Chalice. It makes me think of the days when I could go and sit on the shores of lake superior, watch the most gorgeous sunsets on earth and have all my problems just melt away.

When I am p***: 'West Nasville Grand Ballroom Gown'... I dont know why I just chose this song. I like screaming the part "so f*** all those West Nashville Grand Ballroom!!!..."
I like screaming that part too. My husband hates it when I rewind the cd just to listen to that line over & over.
I also like OPH, Southern Cross (even though not really a JB song) and Weather Is Here..... Although an JB will bring a smile on the worst of days!

One Particular Harbor would be the start then Southerncross "live", Schoolboy Heart........ My 3 Yrold keet would say "play daddy's song" (Volcano) and sing everyword along with me, now that warms my heart as much as the Rum does!

Apparently we caught the same vibe at the same time!!

WOW!

That's kinda weird!
Are you headed to the Philly show (8/27)? I owe you a beer.
But first I'll need to get my lanyard and ID badge!

Wow, this thread took off more than I thought it would.
"He's just singin and orderin' drinks."
It's just like all h***'s breaking loose back home and he could care less.
I downloaded the Jones Beach show from 2004 from the jimmybuffet.servebeer.ftp (sp?), and that line is just great!
