Unmotivated...

I"m way unmotivated this morning. I was planning on running 10 miles this morning (I'm in training for a half marathon), and I just have no get up and go. Maybe I'll pop in a Buffett CD and that will get the adrenaline pumping!

My boss is gone. Common sense says close about 50 accounts and get ahead of "work flow". I think I shall do little

I've been on this earth for nearly 31 years and haven't run a total of 10 miles in that time.. I think it's okay for you to take the day off..

It's Friday and I haven't had any coffee yet... but I'm rarely motivated anyway, so I don't know if coffee will do it for me...

I ran 10 miles one time, but it was because I got lost jogging in my brother's Virginia mountain town and couldn't find my way home in the dark. It's Friday the 13th, anything could happen. That's reason enough to take the day off or at least easy!

I used to run 3 or 4 miles a day until I got old and fragile. Now I'm afraid I might fall and break my hip.

That won't work, it just makes me want to sit in the sun and drink. Try something a bit heavier. Like a little Metalica with the San Fransisco Symphony, now that will get you going.

And running with a walker is kinda difficult, huh?

In other news, the tennis balls on the legs of the walkers really buff the hell outta your floors... so you could accomplish something!

I hear ya on the no get up and go. It's been a long week at school with open house and all. The students have been great this week, so I am thinking All Day KICKBALL Marathon.

Hasn't been a fun morning for me so far, as soon as I get into work I find out I'm gonna be stuck here until about 9pm (one of the phone switches I maintain decided to have a corrupted database this morning). The real bugger about that is I'm in Madison about 1.5 hours from home, so now I gotta find a spot to grab dinner (the CIP here is way on the other side of town, prolly won't have time for that). Then I wound up having to buy 2 bags of my morning snack since the machine didn't wanna let go of the 1st one.
