I voted midwest because I'm in St. Louis. I think Florida would be great. But when it comes right down to it, anywhere with a Major Airport would be good for a Private Party.

Which leaves NY and FL high on the list, depending on the season.
Right, less travel for him, the less it costs us.
Why don't we have it at his house then! Wouldn't cost us anything for him to travel! :P
Central Park isn't too far from where he bought that new apartment in NYC.

I live on the east coast, but Red Rocks in CO is near a major airport, and is centrally located. Although if the show is in late July/early Aug, then my vote is for Australia! :D

I propose NAWLINS!!!!
Not necessarily... KW might be out due to logistics of hotel rooms, but it is not that far from MIA and FLL, and they handle a lot of traffic coming into EYW during MOTM week.

Where in KW would you hold an event this large??? We are talking a minimum 9,000 seats. I haven't been there since 1973 so I'm just asking...

depends on if you do an open-air lawn concert, or use a stage I s'pose. but, like I said, the logistics of getting a place for everyone to stay would be just as big as finding a venue there. It just isn't completely off-limits due to the lack of proximity to an airport, but there are plenty of other reasons it would probably not pass the final test.
