It has become a cult favorite at my school and with alot of people I know. The movie is just filled with so many funny quotes I love it. I think it is something some people love and some people hate.
Hopefully you guys get to like it the more you see it.

how so? the mormon church out here made a big deal about how they produced it.....PHBeerman wrote:Wrong.AlbatrossFlyer wrote:it was produced by the mormon church......
Not sure about that, but the writers did go to BYU, but that doesn't necessarily make them Mormon.AlbatrossFlyer wrote:it was produced by the mormon church......
The movie was produced by individual families. There was a big story on it. Remember I live in Idaho it has been big newsAlbatrossFlyer wrote:how so? the mormon church out here made a big deal about how they produced it.....PHBeerman wrote:Wrong.AlbatrossFlyer wrote:it was produced by the mormon church......
Why would any non-Mormon choose to go to BYU? Did you ever check out the code of conduct at that place? Scary.PalmettoSon wrote:Not sure about that, but the writers did go to BYU, but that doesn't necessarily make them Mormon.AlbatrossFlyer wrote:it was produced by the mormon church......
I'm sure some people are raised Mormon, go to BYU, and then leave the church shortly after they graduate. I don't know of specific Mormon examples, but how many ex-Catholics do you know?rednekkPH wrote:Why would any non-Mormon choose to go to BYU? Did you ever check out the code of conduct at that place? Ok, I can see that. The rules at BYU are enough to turn anyone against the faith.PalmettoSon wrote:I'm sure some people are raised Mormon, go to BYU, and then leave the church shortly after they graduate. the financing came from the church, hence the producer labelPHBeerman wrote:The movie was produced by individual families. There was a big story on it. Yep, was definately way off on that one. I think I've been getting my info from the same source as Rush Limbaugh, the Bureau of my Butt.PalmettoSon wrote:I'm sure some people are raised Mormon, go to BYU, and then leave the church shortly after they graduate. Come to think of it, I think Trey Parker (of South Park fame) grew up Mormon, or maybe I just think that because of that Orgazmo movie.
