OPH and Volcano take me immediately inside the show (as does Fins), but they don't remind me as much of the parking lot. :D
I guess I look at OPH as "anywhere you want it to be!" too. The one song that takes me to anything Buffett related. I misconstrued the ?

I guess the most familiar parking lot song has to be CILCIA!

Pre-You... Wait what was the question? :o

Seriously, probably OPH. Seems to be a popular answer.

Maybe it's just wishing thinking....but "Why don't we get drunk and screw" is a great parking lot song.

For me it's CILCIA. That pretty much sums up the whole concert experience for me. The change from my office in chilly Minnesota to the warmer climate of the parking lot in whatever city I'm seeing the show in.

Maybe its late...maybe I dont get it even if its not late...maybe its time for a root job.....but what are we asking here?

1) What song transports you to the parking lot in anticipation for the show? (The unoriginal answer...but always terrific OPH)

OR

2) What song do you want to leave the show and head for the parking lot beacuse you dislike it? (Cheesebugga, Cheesebugga, Cheesebugga!)

I have to go with the unanim...er, unanamo..the majority on that also....."One Particular Harbor" reminds me of sitting on the lawn at Lakewood. That song sticks out from each concert I've been to for some reason. Must be subliminal messages in the song or something! :o

True, true.

"I'm not one to dealin,gossip,
But was he that big a fool?
To do a belly-buster high-dive,
In a foot high, pick-up truck (inflatable, whichever you prefer) pool.

And what became of Sweet Melissa,
and the boy nobody knew,
Did Ricardo ever find her I swear,
its just between me and you!"

So true, so true :pirate: :pirate:

It's that, Changes, and We Are the People, mainly because last year my brother made ParrotVision during We Are the People.

Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,
I'm just a one man band,
With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar

A Pirate Looks at 40 for me.
Jimmy stares
Towards the bright Pleiades
It's so strange
What his distant eye sees
Who knows why you start
Rediscovering your heart
But you do it again and again

Seems like once I park and shut the truck off, I always hear either Volcano, Cheesburger, or Margaritaville...like within 60 seconds or less. Blaring from either another vehicle or someone with a sound system set up. Any of those always make me think of the Lot. As for the actual concert, a new station here has taken to playing Hot, Hot, Hot! alot lately. And every time I hear it I go to the image of all the people at the show leaping to their feet and cheering wildly. It's not a Buffett song, but it does the trick.
...someplace farther south, where the water's warm, the drink's are cold, and I don't know the names of the players...

Dealing with a bad break-up right now. I am going to have to go with "If the Phone Doesn't Ring It's Me" Normally it's "Floridays."
I'm back to livin' Floridays
