There are some nice hotels on the Turfway Rd. exit in Florence, Kentucky. We always stay there, since its only like a 15 minute drive to Cinci. Park in one of the parking lots on the Kentucky side of the Ohio River and walk across the old blue suspension bridge. You don't have to deal with any traffic after the game and its cheap to park. The walk across is not bad, and pretty scenic on a nice day. Enjoy the stadium, its really nice. Getting married and all, I won't make it up there this summer. I'll miss it, so make up for me.

I always stay at the Holiday Inn in Covington KY. Its located right accross the river from the ballpark. Rooms are usually 70-80$ You can almost see the ballpark from the hotel. For parking I always park in the East Garage. They have a walkway from the parking garage to the ballpark on the fifth level. This will lead you into the bleachers in left field. For eating you might want to try Montgomery Inn. Located minutes from the park and have great ribs. Hope this helps.

If you are looking for cheap, try the Travelodge rates run $32-55 (its nothing fancy but the locaton is excellent and convenient to the fun) it is in Newport, Kentucky just across the river from the stadium and next to the Aquarium, the Peace Bell and Newport on the Levee (an entertainment complex (www.newportonthelevee.com) From the Levee they have a water shuttle that will take you across to the game (for a small fee) our you could walk across the river on the Purple People Bridge. Montgomery Inn (famous for its ribs) is just across the bridge.

You are in walking distance to many bars/restr such as the Beer Sellar, JB Fins (live music on Wed nights) Hooters, the Hofbrauhaus (german beer garden), the Southgate house is very close and has 3 levels of entertainment. Bar Louie in the Levee is know for its fantastic martinis

Newport Riverfront Travelodge
222 York St.
Newport, KY 41071
859 291-4434

Hope this helps.
Enjoy your visit.
