I've never watched 1 second of American Idol. Two of the winners, Kelly Clarkson and Fantasia, have performed on the Today Show. If they won, I'd hate to hear what the losers sounded like. They were both pitiful.

Thanks Larry. I had no clue what this topic was about.

I haven't followed this season, but I have a strong feeling the vote will go to Bo. Just because he's not as "bubblegum pop" as the others. He will be the first "rocker" to make Idol.

Bo Jackson or Sissy Spacek?

(sorry - didn't know the question til I read some answers - never seen Idol - we're a 2 tv house - kids have Disney channel on 1, hubby has sports and poker on the other - I haven't seen much that has aired earlier than 9pm in years... (except our Monday "family favorite" Fear Factor :o )

I don't follow the show, but I'm pretty sure Ruben wasn't white.

Following my formula (I have one for most major "reality" shows, but I digress) I'd put my money on Bo.

I haven't really gotten into any of the other seasons of American Idol, but I did toward the end of this one. Bo Bice is from about 20 minutes from where I live, so that has kept me interested to see how he does. I guess my vote would go for Bo. :D

What is your formula? And if it comes true, do you have one for the lottery?

If I had one for the lottery I wouldn't be watching reality shows.. I'd be on a private island somewhere, where cabana boys bring me fruity drinks and give me pedicures, and Quint would be out on his luxury yacht fishing for enormous fishes.

It's probability, honestly, for the reality shows. I'm usually right. Ask Quint.

So I guess this is the part where I have to admit that American Idol this season has been a part time guilty pleasure of mine

I vote for Carrie. Bo strikes me as a bit too much of a one trick pony. Besides, Carrie has prettier hair.
