A couple of years ago, Jimmy's old house in Key West was for sale. I didn't win the auction.
But I have found "Elvis Imitators" on 45 by Freddie & the Fishsticks.
I also just acquired a copy of "Hits Are Our Buisiness" by the Now Generation.

Just checking out Ebay. Buffet ( one T)
Ok. This one is good. Road crew clock. Look closely at the pictures. Jimmy Buffet (only one T ).
Sounds fishy to me.

I don't know how legitimate this particular auction is, but I wouldn't discredit the auction for that reason alone. It is not that unusual for people to leave the second t out of his name. It happens all the time.

I assume this is supposed to be a gift to the "roadies"... therefore I would discredit it because 1) Jimmy's people wouldn't accept something that was mispelled and 2) who would give a clock to roadies? This is something you give your boss...who has a desk!

EBAY has been good to me. I have discovered several releases I never knew existed. Of course, there are going to be the "scams", (like the 2002 tour clock with BUFFET etched on it) but with a little research, you can usually find the frauds.
These are a few I picked up from EBAY:
Freddie and the Fishsticks "Elvis Imitators" $5
"Please Bypass This Heart" 45 on yellow vinyl
"Livingston Saturday Night" 12 inch single
The 2 LP's with JB from "The Now Generation"
"Chameleon Caravan Tour Sampler 1993" CD
"Great American Summer Fun with Jimmy Buffett" Limited Edition CD
"Calaloo" 2 copies, one still sealed
I discovered "Fear and Loathin in Las Vegas" on EBAY. Bids were up to $50.00. I check out Amazon.com and found a still sealed copy for $12.00

In fact, look at the "revision history" of the posting. He changed the description, the price, and the photos this morning after I e-mailed him.
I suggest everyone go to E-Bay and get this guy.

I just picked up an LP of Havana Daydreamin'
"Supposedly" with "Please Take your Drunken 15 Year old Girlfriend Home on it".
We'll see....

Well, I got the record in the mail today and was shocked to find that it is not Havana Daydreamin' as the seller said although most of the songs are from Havana Daydreamin'.
It came with a plain white cover with the songs handwritten by someone on it.
The actual label on the record says:
Columbia Record Productions
Santa Maria
Test Pressing
Then there are some blank lines for writing on followed by fine print that reads says:
This is a test pressing intended for use determining the technical quality of the recording only. It is not intended for sale or distribution outside of this company.
The tracks are:
Side A
Kick it in Second Wind (this is a different version than what made the album. It sounds great with horns, sax and almost has a jazzy feeling.I actually like it better than the one that made the record)
My head Hurts
Captain and the Kid
Big Rig
Please Take Your Drunken 15 Year Old Girlfiend Home (great to finally have a great copy)
Side B
Woman goin Crazy On Caroline Street
Something So Feminine About A Mandolin
Train To Dixieland
Wonder Why We Ever Go Home (I've seen this called the demo version online although it sounds great).
This Hotel Room
The gems here are:
Please Take your Girlfriend Home
Train To Dixieland
Wonder Why We Ever Go Home
Kick It In Second Wind
Already got em cd and they sound great since the record was like new!!!!!
Handwritten on the cover is also "Kick it in Second Wind" so I'm wondering, is this the original title and line up for the album before it became Havana Daydreamin'?.....

This same seller is now selling an Iron Maiden road crew gift of a decorative glass ornament.....

It's amazing how etched glass has become the gift of choice to give road crews and even more amazing that this seller is able to get his hands on several of these items!

Check it out....this seller has also sold etched glass tour gifts from The Rolling Stones.
