What have you used Duct Tape to fix/alter/improve?

I learned today that the "glue" on Duct Tape is effective in removing warts as Victoria has a gnarly mother on her hand. She got the liquid nitrogen treatment and doc said we could put a small circle of Duct Tape over the wart to help treat it.

'Bout the craziest thing I've ever heard...but it seems to be working!!

a fellow Jeep owning friend of mine is currently using duct tape to patch his soft top in a few places.
In a few years I'll prolly have to do the same.

Next time use baby oil! :)

I used duck tape on a hem one night before heading out to a club... back in the mini skirt days of the early 90s.....only problem was when I started dancing and 'sweatin...the duct tape kinda stuck to the back of my thighs...and the skirt bunched all up in my stockings..... kinda odd! LOL

My parents used it to patch up the holes and tears in the old Sears pop-up camper we had when I was a kid. The thing was at least 20 years old, had a canvas top and front enclosure that was moldy and full of holes. Of course the bleach we used to kill the mold made more holes. Must have been 3 rolls of duct tape on that damn thing. We called it the "gypsy-polock caravan" in tribute to our ancestry. My dad has re-built the chassis of that thing into a box trailer 3 or 4 times since then, still has it 20-something years later.

My wife has said for years that all you need is Duck Tape and Neosporin, and you can fix anything. Sounds like Sweet Melissa needed both.

My husband was holding a storm door open and his hand went trough it. It sliced his knuckle off. He picked it up off the ground, washed it off and duct taped it back on!!! But, you know the lines on your knuckle (the knucle print)? He didn't match them back up when he taped it back on, so it healed with the lines going the wrong way!!!
