Never mind....
My lil sis is uh 31 and still won't get hers done as Mom Doesn't approve..

My daughter was five when she had hers done....one day she decided that she was afraid she was going to lose the back, so she put ANOTHER back on the earring....it pushed the first back INSIDE the earlobe. She got the worst infection....we finally got through it, but it was yucky.

Now at 13 she wants to get a second ear piercing......trying to be open minded, but just not too sure.....

My kid started and never stopped. Had her ears pierced at age 3 . . . never a problem. Got econd ear holes at 13. 3rd, 4th, 5th . . . . later. Has tongue, labret, eyebrow, nose and nipples at 22. TMI.

It's her body and piercings grow over. Tattoos are permanent.

My dad said anything I pierced he would tie to the back of the car and floor it...I think he meant it! Therefore no tattoos or piercings.


I had my ears done when I was in fifth grade.

My lil girls are 3 and their mother had theirs done back around Christmas... I had no say in it or at least wasnt consulted on it because we are no longer together and she's a....well...nevermind.... anyhooo

IMHO I think if your going to do it for lil girls yourself then it should be when they are babies and you are better able to care for them properly without them messing with their ears... beyond that point, wait until they are old enough to not only ask for them themselves but also do the necessary caring for them...

With my girls... yes, they agreed to them but they didnt know any better and the absolute HELL I went through trying to turn those stinkin rods and use the antiseptic was never worth it... all they knew was it hurt, so they fought me on it ... hell, they didnt ask for 'em... and it made our week together for Christmas very difficult which i believe was the intent... but thats another story

it's best to hold off til they're 12...

before going out to pierce your tongue and whatnots....
