Last year was my first concert at Nissan. I live about 3 hours away but it was definitely worth the trip. I so need this show coming up and just can't wait till next Wednesday. I remember that the hill was a little daunting.

Don't want to have a bunch of cold meat... yuck!
This is my 8th Buffett show at Nissan and I've never had an issue with bringing a grill or alcohol (in a plastic cup). As for tickets, every year someone in our group has had to find tickets in the parking lot and we have never had any issues with getting into the parking lot...or finding tickets!

No, technically grills are not allowed. That being said, 9 out of 10 tailgates have grills - many of them charcoal. We've never been hassled about our grill, except to have the cops ask us to move it out of the main path more. Nor have we seen anyone else hassled about their grills. I figure that "No grill rule" is mostly a liability statement. If history is any indicator, there's a better chance of Jimmy plopping down in a chair at your tailgate than of the Nissan people shutting down your grill!

I have not been able to sleep or focus on anything for a month now. My wife and I just came back from a week in Key West celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary :D ( She met Savannah in the ladies room of Margaritaville during her b-day party) and we were able to get front row seats for the concert this year. WOOOOOOOOO! I can't hold it in any longer. Time for another mango margarita.

Hi all,

Maryland Fins here. Newbie on here but been going to Buffett shows for years. Been to Merriweather and Nissan countless times.

The above comments match my experiences. They don't look at tickets to get in the lot. Grills are fine. But they say no grills in case you burn your car down because the grill was too close. Lawyers you know.

Absolutely keep your drinks in cups. They will get you for bottles or cans.
I would say they will catch a regular camera, cell phone cameras are fine.
I got some nice pix off the TV screens in the pavilion last year.

Had some friends back out off the show. So...
I have posted some extra tickets in the Ticket ads section. 2 in 304 and 1 lawn, will take less then face. Any offer.

This should be a great show, hope the bad weather holds off.

I can hear the blenders already. Ahhhhhhh.

Fins up!

Ive been to nissan countless times. I always use a cup to drink except when im at buffett. Ive seen him 6 times there and there are 1000s of people walking around with coronas. The cops cant do anything because there are to many of us with the bottles out. If you want to play it safe use a cup but i like my corona straight from the bottle i hate that plastic taste of a cup. .

Plus Im pretty sure they open the gates at 12 for vip and 3 for everybody else because every year we get there early and end up waiting at the 7 11 for the gates to open.
Legalize It!!!!!
