I know people post topics about songs they dont like from time to time but the responses are always lesser known songs like Elvis Impersonators and Math Sux. There has awlays been one very popular song I hated.

From the first time I heard "Grapefruit, Jucyfruit" I hated it, tried a couple of times but still hated it. Friday night I forgot to hit the fast foward button and now Im hooked, Listen a thousand times on Saturday and Sunday.

Its like having a new song, without a new album

I am glad someone started a topic like this. I had a similar experience about a month ago. For some reason everytime I heard Remittance Man I skipped it, one night I had all my songs in shuffle mode and left the room, when I returned it was playing and I think man this is a great song what is the name of it. It was Remittance Man, now I listen to it every day.

funny topic... The other day I asked my wife to grab me a CD for my ride into work. She gave me Beach House on the Moon, probably my least favorite CD. I hadn't listened to it since it came out. Decided to give it a try and now I find that I like most of the songs, whereas before I only liked one or two.

I hated the whole Banana Wind CD when it first came out.....probably went 3-4 years without even playing it. Than, I decided to give it a second chance and it's now one of my favorite albums of the last 20 years.

same happened to me with Changing Channels.
Saw him close the show with it in Tampa a couple of years ago and now love it.
I also used to dislike "Livingston's gone to Texas" but now love it, especially the original version with the lost verse.

You're just confused by the misspelling. It shoud actually be spelled "Whelp." Does that make more sense?
