I love the lost verse especially considering he wrote it during the 2000 election fiasco. Wish he would have left it.

That is awesome! Just Jimmy and his guitar :D You have to love it. That has been one of my favorite songs since the first time I ever heard it. I think I know what I'll be listening to today :D Thanks for the heads up on this phenwayparrothead! I hadn't checked JimmyDreamz for a while.

I didn't listen to it but my standing rule is when Jimmy does anything political its usually not worth listening to. Just my always humble opinion.

I didn't think it was that politically charged. It was just him saying thank god I'm away from the craziness of the news. And lets face it, that was craziness after the 2000 election.

Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,
I'm just a one man band,
With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar

So how do I actually get to listen to this? I click on the link and it takes me to The Sound Board (where I can see it listed) but then there is no way to get it to "play". :-? :-? A little help??

Assuming you have an updated Windows Media Player (If not, you can download one from Radio Margaritaville's website for free), click the Windows icon to the left of the song title.

Now, this is what happens on my computer: A popup window will open that says, "Install on Demand." Click Cancel. Then, your media player will open, and after it connects, it will start playing for nine seconds. But, you will hear no sound during this nine seconds. Then, it will reconnect, and the song will start.
