Skinny Dip

Has anyone else read this book by Carl Hiaasen? I just started it today. I'm about 30 pages into it. Great so far. I got 3 of his books yesterday for my summer reads now that I'm finished ASPOL. Did everyone else like it?

i finished skinny dip last sunday. enjoyed it. i read sick puppy while on vacation in may, and thought it was great. if you like skinny dip, you'll love sick puppy....

I've read 6 Hiaasen books now and Sick Puppy I think is second best, next to Tourist season. I'm in the middle of Stormy Weather right now, and like it so far. The only one of his books thats disappointed me so far is Lucky You, I have yet to get to Skinny Dip. I just can't get sick of the tales of Clinton Tyree.

tourist season was ok, not as good as sick puppy and skinny dip in my book.....

I also bought Sick Puppy along with Paradise Screwed. I'll read Sick Puppy once I'm done Skinny Dip.

Skinny Dip was great! I'm a big fan of all of Hiaasen's work! Great summer reading! I like all of the books, and you'll notice that a lot of the characters come back on other books.. Especially Skink (Clinton Tyree). I finished all his books though.. So I need to find some more summer reading.. Any suggestions????

I've read them all so far, they're great, if you think about skipping Striptease because of the movie don't it's also an excellent read. We've talked about if they make movies:
For Skinny Dip
Mick - Bruce Willis
Joey - Charlize Theron
and
Skin we've talked it over a lot Sean Connery, Kris Kristofferson, or Sam Elliot.

Island In The Sun by Alec Waugh. It's a bit older, but reminds me a lot of Don't Stop The Carnival... a good read, it has the tropical feel to it.
