Only problem is, I owe BG a favor now :o :o :o

I bought Kalik "Beer of the Bahamas" at Publix in Gainesville this weekend. Funny enough, I saw the beer and decided to try it...and then saw this thread this morning

Well, we're home. Needless to say, he loved it.

I presented it to him as; "Hey dad, what was that beer you were talking about? You mean like this?"

Debbie had even put the bottles in ziplock bags to preserve the labels, so it was perfect. His eyes lit up like a little kid when I opened the cooler and gave him a bottle.

We spent Saturday night catching up and drinking just about the whole case from his back deck overlooking Lake Hartwell.

It was priceless.

Just spoke to the rep @ Hop City Beer in Atlanta. He told me that Kalik is available at the store. You can check it out @ (404)350-9998. Check it out and I hope this was helpful. :)

mmm... love Kalik! Always reminds me of Staniel Cay in the Exumas, Bahamas! Have had it in Key West at a few places like Schooners! They'll even fill a bucket with them! mmm... never seen it up here in New England though.

I like it. Had it in Ft. Lauderdale.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

Oh no way!!! I do their website! I'm trying to get a trip down there this spring for my birthday! That and need to chat with Dave about redoing the site - been a few years! Nothing quite inspires me more than hanging at the club or out on the patio with a Kalik and wifi access! ahahaha...

Suddenly, I've developed a powerful thirst for a Kalik. I might have to stop at Publix. It always reminds me of the islands!
I just want to live happily ever after every...now...and...then
