For many of us the lifestyle dipicted in Jimmy Buffett's music is a way of life. The concepts fill our thoughts and carry over to many aspects of our lives.

It got me to wondering... how do you show the world your "Buffettized" life?

Don't know about "in your face," but it's certainly no secret! I have my "Happy Shark" on my truck, my Margaritaville Yacht Club hat on my head, 4.5hrs of Jimmy & related Island music on mp3 in the cd player, map of Key West over the bar where you'll find plenty of Corona and island bar accessories!

Oh, and the pirates on that link you sent? That's my pirate club , where I live...They're great...
Everything here is Pirates..The High School Football, Baseball, Soccer, etc..teams..
Middle School...all Pirates...

We have some Buccaneers in little league....

We are all about pillage and plunder here.....

You should see the invasion of the Pirates at Shrimp Festival..Hilarious! They come in on Shrimp boats.....with Wagner blasting out of speakers all up and down Centre Street....Cracks me up every year....

I used to have a sticker on my car

I am now waiting on the arrival of a new sticker for the new car (had to wait till I knew what colour car I was getting, so the sticker would match

KW wallpaper on the monitor at work
pictures of trips to concerts and KW

If they don't know, they are basically clueless.

I have a Parrothead sticker on my rear window of my car, have every album JB has released (and actively listen to them), and wear flip flops in the winter (of course, that could just make me weird). Most people figure it out because I run margarita cove designs, the name alone spells it out for most people.

I'm sure most would say I am over the top, been to 70+ shows, have a tropical decorated class room, have a tropical house, with a 200 sqft Tiki Bar in the backyard.

I would say, it just shows on my face.

I have a JB calendar and a Hawaii calendar in my office and personalized license plates (PHINZ) that either get a "Nice plate!" or a "Huh?".....

Most of the people in my "real" life just don't get it.... at all......

I got it all, stickers, tiki bar, all the CD's (don't usually get all the downloaded live ones though), piles of hawaiian shirts, many tshirts, visited Lulu's a few times.. etc

Shrine in the house: Check

Pre-paid funeral plan: Beach casual with only one non-JB song (Aaron Neville's AVE MARIA)

Nothing but Bubba on the CD player at work: Check

Conversation at meet-ups with former co-workers begin like this:
Them: Okay. How many times have you seen Jimmy Buffett this year?

Phone rings when Jimmy's on TV (any station, any time) and it's one of my non-parrothead friends telling me "Hey, your guy is on TV."

Each year at pageant time, they kill my "Buffett Beach Party" idea.

Somewhere inbetween very subtlely and in your face. I always have at least one CD in the car, have quite a collection of bootlegs and DVDs, but stop short of hawaiian shirts.

For me I am also between over the top and in your face. I mean.... I had to attend a family wedding once...on a scheduled concert date. I went to the wedding and got deathly ill....
