Depending on how much time you want to spend at M'ville, you could consider booking your hotel at the Flamingo or Imperial Palace. We shared a limo from the Flamingo to the MGM with some other Parrotheads and it was only like $12 pp. We walked back after the concert though (which wasn't super great 'cause I was drunky and my feet hurt), but we didn't feel like dealing with getting a cab.
I thought the limo was cheaper than that even?

And the walk back was freakin cold, but we did get to know Kevin and Zim, so it was ok.

I'm in, but I don't know which show yet.

Depending on the size and where you are going, prices vary.

If I had ever been to Vegas....
A sedan from the airport to the strip is about $50
A stretch from the strip to ICE is $85

Of course this is all just hear say. 8)

No, last time I was in Vegas (you know, when we didn't get pictures of my monkey humping you), Matt and Mal and I were waiting in this HUGE line for a taxi to go over to the MGM, and some guy (who oddly enough, was from Indy) said he had room for 3 in the limo, and I think it ended up being like 8 bucks or something. Plus we didn't have to wait for 3 hours.

But a quick tip to those who haven't been before- if you share a cab with one other person, it's only $1 more than the shuttle to get to the airport, and the cabs will actually get you there in time to make your flight.

The only time walking in Vegas was severely awful for me was when I was 5 months pregnant in September and it was 100 degrees. We walked from the Luxor to the Mirage (with sight-seeing stops in between) and back.

Whats so bad about walking on a nice cool day like that? If it's 120, I can understand the bitching.....but when it cools down like that, just enjoy the stroll!

I walked that darn stretch from MGM to Margaritaville about 10 times in 3 days... if I can do it, anyone can!

Still not sure if and when I'm going yet however...

Hey Coco,

I woulda been cold too, wearin' what you were wearin'. But then again I never would have had the opportunity to see your autograph...who was it who signed you that night?

I missed the last Vegas show, my sister scored 6 seats in the 3rd row center for the Anaheim show for free for my 40th. Couldn't turn that one down!

I'll be at the show on the 29th. Not with the family this time, but will bring a friend to her first show. It would be great to see you there!

What was 3 and 4 again???? I just got the visual after 1 and 2 and the mind went blank.

Isn't Charlston the big dude? He was nice enough not to dispose of my disposable camera during the Anaheim show. I snapped about 14 or 15 pics before he threatened to separate me from it, though.

Yes. Charleston is the big dude. And incredibly cool. Not a man to be reckoned with.

He had his angry eyes on that night! But seriously, he was very cool (I could tell by the way he was singing along with all the songs) but there's no way I was going to push his patience! I've no doubt he would have followed through.
